Early this morning, the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Fire Department responded to a structure Fire in their city. 13 civilian lives were lost, including 7 children. It was reported that there were NO working smoke detectors in the residence.
French Village Fire Department offers free smoke detectors and install them for all citizens in our fire district. If you live outside of our district we will still help with getting you smoke detectors. Please reach out if you need smoke detectors to help stop tragic fires like this.
