The first Arrival of the Rosenbauer Trucks is here!! The chassis rolled in 9/28/12. Update... The Delivery of the New 2811 to Engine House one has been made and put in service. Picture Below. The Old 2811 was also given a New home to Alexander Fire Dept. More info to follow.

 

The Arrival of the Second Rosenbaur Chassis was annouced to us on Friday 10/19/12 here are the pictures. Please keep following as we will have more thru the builds of these Units.

Alexander Fire Dept picked up 2811 on Feb 11 2013. French Village placed this up for a donation to a good home for departments in need. Alexander Fire Dept responded to the ad and fit the profile and we are glad we could help out.

Alexander Fire Dept Profile

Our department is located in Morgan County, we cover approximately 36 square miles of territory, including eight miles of interstate that bisects the district. We are an all volunteer department, with fourteen firefighters currently on the roster. We are 10 miles east of Jacksonville, and 20 miles west of Springfield. It is a rural area with an approximate population of 1200 people.
